  1. I disagree with both the background and the conclusion you are offering.
    The world is producing enough food. Food shortages are mostly economical and political issues.
    Then, if the question is to produce sustainable food with a worldwide perspective, ditching animal products is the way to go. Humans do not need animal products to be healthy. Plus, the impact of aquaculture on the environment are huge. You cannot advocate to replace beef and chicken by sea products to reduce the environmental footprint of food production.
    As already exposed by several UN reports, reducing the environmental impact of food production goes with 1. reducing food waste and 2. decreasing the meat production (sea food included!).
